![]() ![]() In fact I highly recommend it mostly for the 2 side rewards you get from doing it (see the notes near the end).Īrmorsmithing is not for the faint of heart or those unsure if it's the direction they really want to go. If u change ur mind and have to unlearn Blacksmithing u will permanantly loose access to several plans.Ĭomentado por ThottbotHorde ArmorsmithingĪs an FYI every smith can complete 90% of this quest chain without dedicating themselves to armorsmithing. This may seem like a fairly obvious point, but before u specialise make shure ur u are making the right choice. As far as i know there is NO WAY to relearn those plans once u unlearn them, and many of those plans are requiered for the hand in for this q. This was, in my case, because id already done them before i became a wep smith. The Old Ways, Mithril Order chain, can no longer be completed. This came in handy as i also found out that if u drop blacksmithing, all the other blacksmith q's that precede this one, i.e. If u are the requiered lvl and skill u get specialisation automatically, without having to make the turn ins. There is a new conversation option from the npc that sais u are ex-armor/wep smith and u want to re-train. If u drop Blacksmithing after specialising wep or armor, u DO NOT have to repeat this quest when u are able to specialise again. So, just let someone else do the hard work and tip them good for their time.Ĭomentado por ThottbotJust thaught id mention this, as i found out today after respeccing from Wep smith to Armor smith. To make the story short, I made the items with my warrior, turned them in with my main, and now I am an armor smith. Instead, I tried to make it with my warrior and just turn it in. Reading thses posts saying that I had to waste 400ish bars of iron and mithril just to learn these quests again, I wasn't too happy. I figured this would make it so that I only have to level one of my character's reputation with the Thorium Brotherhood. That being the case, I decided to change my main from tailoring/mining to tailoring/armor smith. Well, of course I can't do this now with my warrior which sucks. As I got my warrior leveled up, I decided that I wanted to start learning the DARK IRON plans. Of course, I did all of the Mithril Order quests to do this, so he now knows all these recipes. How do I know this? I made my alt warrior a weaponsmith and did all the quests for blacksmithing to do this. If you know another blacksmith that has already done this, you can have them make the items for you. Comentado por ThottbotFor those who don't want to waste mithril bars on doing this quest line and learn the recipe, DON'T! You don't have to. ![]()
